New facelift Tesla Model Y reveled with new features and increased performance
Tesla Model Y is the best selling electric car in the world and is made in three locations around the world: USA, China and Germany. Now the best seller got a new design and improved performance with updated EV pack. Tesla has launched the new model in China first and have plans to start delivery in march 2025.
The all new Model Y feature a sharper and more aggressive look with futuristic design language which is somewhere inspired from brands giant truck. Cybertruck. Now it gets more upright nose section, split headlights, a light band connecting the day time running light, longer hood, and an edgier front bumper give the new model a more powerful and aggressive appearance at the front.
If you talk about the rear design, Model Y gets a sleek through-type diffuse tail light spans the entire width and lends the electric vehicle a sci-fi look, while a sportier bumper gives it a more dynamic styling making it the super sport plus utility vehicle. Inside, American brand fully re-design its dashboard including door panels. The center console or infotainment system is now cleaner design with more advance features.
Brand replaced their old 15-inch display with the all new 15.4-inch infotainment and mention that the new unit will give you more enhanced network connectivity and clearer in-car call system. Tesla gives Model Y new luxury highlight with decent ambient lights, upgraded 16-speakers sound system, double layer acoustic glass, ventilated front driver and passenger seats, power-folding and recline rear seats makes it more comfortable and luxury.
The all new Model Y is available in China with a powerful motor and battery. It has standard-range rear wheel drive and long-range have all wheel drive system. Tesla will surly release the new rear wheel drive long range and a performance AWD variant in the coming time. The standard RWD variant reach from steady to 100km/h (0-62mph) in just 5.9 seconds where top speed is 201km/h (124.8mph).
The battery pack support 170kW charger and have a range of 593km (368.4 miles). The long range variant goes from zero to 100 (0-62mph) in 4.3 seconds and a max 201km/h of top speed. Its battery pack supports 250kW input charging with a range of 719km (446.7 miles). If you talk about the pricing of the electric vehicle, it is available at CNY 263,500 and goes up to CNY 303,500 in China. This is kind of an affordable price of this kind of high-performance electric vehicle.
