Areo: Google Launches a Hyper Local App for Food Delivery and Home Services in India

Recently, Google launched its hyper-local services app – ‘Areo’ in India. Specially launched for Android users, this app is initially available in Bengaluru and Mumbai only. Basically, it is a home delivery services that will provide food and general home services that are available in the app including chefs, electricians, plumbers, painters, food from restaurants, etc. The customers can easily pay through credit/debit cards, net banking and cash on delivery.
In the collaboration with some home service and food delivery service providers, Google has come up Areo. Freshmenu, Box8, and Faasos will provide food delivery services in Mumbai and Bengaluru. And, the home services will be provided by UrbanClap and Zimmber.For the online payments, Google has joined its hand with TimesofMoney’sDirecPay.
